KRM KONE voice alarm service is a part of the KONE Remote Monitoring feature. It is used to connect elevators and escalators to KONE Customer Care Centre (KC3) with a two-way voice and data link. KONE voice alarm service provides means for trapped passengers to talk to KC3 personnel.
KRM voice alarm service enables emergency calls from the elevator car to the KC3. When the alarm button in the elevator car is pressed, KRM dials the KC3 number and transmits the elevator identification number to the KC3. When the KC3 answers the call, the passengers in the elevator can talk directly with the KC3 personnel.
KRM can be connected to the public telephone network.
